Design Icons: Classic British Interiors

So what’s makes the English interior so iconic? English homes have a unique sense of character. According to Dominic Bradbury, Country & Townhouse, “They are full of stories and rich in personality. British designers have a particular talent for creating homes and interiors according to these mores, layered with eclectic ideas and points of inspiration, as well as playful touches and occasional eccentricities.”

There is a depth to British design that is unique in itself, speaking of history, craft and the desire to be different rather than conform to either fashion or mediocrity.
— Dominic Bradbury

English interiors always feel so effortless in their blend of old tradition and new ideas, and they borrow influences from all over the world, which makes English interiors feel very charming.

The beauty of English interiors is not limited to one particular style or tradition but embraces a global perspective.
